Wendy "Cristl" Spicer, beloved daughter of Wayne and Cathy Homens (nee Foard), passed away on 10/26/2025 of heart failure. Cristl was born is South Lake Tahoe on April 21, 1979.
Cristl was most known for her generous spirit, love of nature, and unwavering support for those around her. Cristl touched many lives. She enjoyed going to mass, and at times, sang along with the choir. In fact, she enjoyed most types of music and knew the words of just about every song she heard.
Cristl learned to ski when she was four years old, living near Lake Tahoe California. Later Cristl took-up snowboarding and, when she was eighteen, moved to Mammoth Mountain California. There she befriended and snowboarded with some of the greatest Olympic Snowboarders of the 1990's. She loved the outdoors and nature.
When Cristl returned to Maryland she attended the Baltimore School of Massage and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. She continued her education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County campus, and on December 22, 2010, Cristl achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Cristl worked for Luna's and Ojas day spa's and finally went to work at Lifetime Fitness. She worked on several famous athletes of the time including Ray Lewis and Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens.
In her work as a massage therapist, many of her clients said that she had “Healing Hands”. She developed many sincere and lasting friendships.
Cristl is survived by her parents Wayne and Catherine Homens and her Caregiver Joseph Panella, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She maintained many close friendships and will be deeply missed by the many hearts that she has touched. Cristl was predeceased by her sister Therese.
A memorial Catholic funeral mass will be held on:

St. Augustine Parish, 5976 Old Washington Rd. Elkridge MD 21075.
