Thomas Michael Touchet

January 13, 1956 — May 28, 2025

Dundalk, MD

Thomas Michael Touchet, a devoted Christian and cherished soul, was called home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Surrounded by his loving family, he peacefully entered eternal rest, embraced by the promise of Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want… Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.”

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on January 13, 1956, to the late Charles Leroy Duncan and Lena Agnes Scheppers, Michael lived a life rooted in faith, creativity, and service. A proud veteran of the United States Army Reserve, he carried the values of duty and integrity into every facet of his life. A gifted artist and masterful carpenter, Michael’s hands shaped wood into beauty, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship in every creation. His love for hunting, fishing, and music reflected his deep connection to God’s creation—whether harmonizing on his harmonica, drumming with passion, or crafting intricate works of art. His harmonica melodies and rhythmic beats brought joy to countless gatherings, echoing his belief that “every good gift is from above” (James 1:17).

Michael’s greatest treasure was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of many years, Donna D. Touchet; his devoted son, Thomas Lee Touchet; siblings Charles F. Duncan, Beverly A. Anderson, and Sondra Guire; nieces Wendy Hylock and Reba Guire; nephews Michael Lizau and Eric Anderson; and a host of friends who became family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Edith Duncan,AKA Nan, his parents and sister, Rita Irene Law as well as Uncles James Duncan and Roy Duncan and many cousins.

Services are currently being finalized and will be announced at a later date. Please check back for details.

Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” —Matthew 25:23

May his memory be a blessing, and his spirit forever dwell in the light of God’s eternal love.
