Preston Skye Taylor

Preston Skye Taylor passed away on 7/28/2026 at 38 years old. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit and the love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Scott Kelley, Jr., his paternal grandmother Mary Taylor and his paternal grandfather Lewis Taylor.

Preston leaves behind his loving parents, Shanna Jo Dorsey and Bruce Dorsey; Lewis Preston Taylor and Susan Taylor. His loving grandmothers Sally Kelley, Lydia White and Barbara Dorsey along with his loving Grandad, Brian Dorsey. His brothers, John Swarthout V (Lexie), Charles Dorsey, Isiah Dorsey, Steven Taylor and Zackery Taylor (Kyra); his Stepsister Tina Robinson. 5 beautiful nieces; Journee, Sapphire, Alivia, Sophia and Mariana, His loving Aunt/Uncles; Kimberly Kelley, Brian Dorsey Jr and Byron (Andi) Dorsey and his many cousins and friends. But above all his beloved son Preston Skye Taylor Jr. all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the love Preston gave so freely and in the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. His memory will continue to live on through the family and friends who loved him deeply.
