Paul Reginald Simmons, Jr.

Paul Reginald Simmons, Jr. of Halethorpe, Maryland passed away November 25, 2019 at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center located in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was born on January 19, 1947 in Bethesda, Maryland to the late Paul Reginald Simmons, Sr. and Mary Frances Simmons. He got into scrap metal recycling at the age of 15 with his brother and eventually came to own and operate, Paul’s Scrap and Junk Removal out of Laurel, Maryland. He was a very loving, compassionate, kind and caring brother, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his siblings, Gloria Johnson of MD, Edward Simmons of WV, Kay Witt of KY, the late Gwendolyn Carter and Mary Hudson; his children, Tracy Simmons of WV, Stephanie Simmons of MD, Edward Simmons of MD, and Paul Simmons, III of PA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. God wanted me now, God set me free.
