Mary Elizabeth Vizioli

Mary Elizabeth Vizioli (née Tartarilla) passed away at home with her family by her side on Monday September 22, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1944 in Rye, NY to the late James A. Tartarilla and Margaret Catherine Tartarilla.

While working at Alexander’s Mary met the love of her life, Tommy. They were blessed with 3 children, 4 grandsons and a step grandson. Mary and Tommy had a love like no other and they recently celebrated 58 years of a beautiful marriage. Mary’s children and her grandsons were the lights of her life. GrandMary was always doing something for her family - sending care packages, buying “prizes”, baking and sending chocolate chip cookies and teaching them life lessons.

Mary had many passions. She loved cooking, entertaining, gardening, shopping,  but above all she cherished time with her family. Whether it was entertaining a houseful or decorating for a holiday, Mary had “the touch” — everything was so elegant and welcoming. Mary worked as a realtor and she took pride in helping people find their dream home.

She was the most generous, thoughtful person. Mary never missed a birthday nor did she miss an opportunity to send a card for any occasion or sometimes just because.

Mary was predeceased by her brother, Peter Tartarilla and her sister Doris Paynter. She is survived by her husband Thomas L. Vizioli, Sr, her son Tom Vizioli, Jr (Donna), daughter Loretta Trumble (Terry), daughter MiMi Hiser (Bill), grandsons, Billy, Christopher, Thomas and Joseph and her step grandson Zach.

For those of us blessed to be passengers on Mary’s train of life, we thank God for such a joyful journey filled with the most beautiful love.
