Mary Margaret "Peggy" Moran, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on April 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving daughters, caring sister, cherished granddaughter. Born on July 27, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, Peggy dedicated her life to her family, her career, and her passions.
Peggy had a successful career as a Probate Manager at an estate planning and estate administration law firm, where her organizational skills and kind-hearted approach made her a valued presence. Her commitment to her work and her warm personality left a lasting impact on her colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of her career, Peggy was known for her great sense of humor and her kindness, which endeared her to all who knew her. She cherished spending time with her daughters, Mrs. Sarah Layne Brooke and Miss Erica Lynne Marggraf, finding joy in the moments shared within their close-knit family. Her grandchildren—Valerie Monroe, Eva Brooke, Victoria Brooke, and Alivia Brooke—brought her immense happiness and pride. Peggy also enjoyed the companionship of her sister, Mrs. Kathleen Marie Cunningham, her brothers, Michael and Patrick Moran, Niece Kimberly Cunningham, and her son-in-law, Chad Brooke.
Peggy's interests included quilting, knitting, and enjoying true crime television, but it was her annual trips to the Outer Banks that brought her the most joy. She also relished the tradition of attending crab feasts with loved ones, creating treasured memories that will echo in the hearts of her family and friends.
The legacy of Peggy Moran is further enriched by her devotion to her family, which included her late husband, Bradley Steven Marggraf, as well as her parents, Patrick Joseph Moran, Sr., and Clara Mae Moran.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Peggy's life and memory during the following services: a Viewing on April 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with an additional Viewing from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at MacNabb Funeral Home, located at 301 Frederick Rd, Catonsville, MD; a Mass on April 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Saint Mark's Catholic Church, located at 30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, MD; and her Interment on April 30, 2025, at 12:30 PM at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD.
Peggy Moran will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends as they strive to honor her memory.
