Mary Drager

Mary Carol Drager, 79, of Catonsville and Ellicott City passed away on March 31, 2026. Mary Carol was deeply caring and generous toward everyone including strangers and especially animals. She spent her time trying to help others and centered her life around her daughter Jennifer (Burkmar) Golder and her grandson Brooks Golder who brought happiness to her life. She valued her parents Bill and Arlene (Horn) Drager, sisters Ceil and Judy, brother Rob and her large extended family. She appreciated her kind neighbors, coworkers, and friends. She loved animals and lived with many cats and several dogs over the years. She spent a significant amount of time and money helping lost, stray and feral cats including implementing the important trap-neuter-vaccinate-return model. A memorial event will take place at a later date.
