In Loving Memory of Kristina Marie Vinson March 13, 1977 – July 31, 2025

Surrounded by the love of family and dear friends, Kristina Marie Vinson passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 48 years old.

Born on March 13, 1977, Kristina lived a life defined by compassion, grace, and quiet strength. Her laughter lifted spirits, her kindness ran deep, and her unwavering devotion to others left an indelible mark on every life she touched.

A passionate and tireless advocate, Kristina dedicated her career to social work, devoting herself to improving the lives of children in foster care. She championed their voices, fought for their futures, and gave selflessly to ensure that each child knew they mattered. Her life’s work was more than a profession — it was a calling rooted in deep empathy and hope.

Kristina is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Linda Vinson; her brother, Brian, and his wife, Anca; her niece and nephew, Riley and Henry; and her fiancé, Larry McKinney, who stood lovingly by her side through every step of her journey. She is also survived by three uncles—Denis Vinson, Daniel Ruffner, and Ronald Rinehart; her aunt, Susan Ruffner; and numerous cousins, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at MacNabb Funeral Home, 301 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. The Gathering will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by the Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Kristina will be laid to rest at Norbeck Memorial Park on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in honor of Kristina’s courageous journey and enduring hope.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she lifted, the children she protected, and the love she gave freely. Kristina’s light will continue to shine — in memory, in purpose, and in the hearts of all who knew her.
