John Steven Clingerman

John Steven Clingerman, 65, of Catonsville, Maryland, passed away on February 12, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, John lived a life grounded in love, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. He had an unwavering passion for family and for life itself—values that guided him every day and shaped the way he cared for the people he loved.

John found joy in simple, meaningful moments. He loved trains, fishing, and spending time outdoors, where he felt most at peace. Whether he was casting a line on a quiet morning or sharing stories with friends and family, John had a way of making every moment feel full and memorable. His presence was steady, warm, and genuine, and he carried those qualities into every relationship he built. He also had a fond spot in his heart for all of his fur babies throughout the years. 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Christina; his son, John; his daughter‑in‑law, Lisa; his sister, Mary; his brother‑in‑law, Charlie; his brother-in-law Joseph; and his beloved granddaughter, Ava, who brought him endless pride and joy. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews. John’s love for his family was the heart of his life, and his memory will continue to live on in each of them.

John is preceded in death by his father, Ottis; his mother, Mary; his sister, Barbara; his brother, David; and niece, Rebecca.  

John will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will remain a lasting gift.
