James Charles Rue (Jim), 84, of Baltimore passed away surrounded by his family at Season’s Hospice at Franklin Square Hospital after being ill the past few months. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores Rue and is survived by his loving son, David Rue; daughter, Lori Neikirk; son-in-law, Ted Neikirk, and sister, Shirley Wolf. Jim loved the Lord, his family and dear cat (Chloe) as well as his hometown of Baltimore. He enjoyed hiking at Cromwell Valley Park, baseball, air shows, steam shows, big band music, eating at his favorite Diner, summertime, and rummaging through antique shops. He was a talented pen and ink artist and enjoyed drawing many Baltimore landmarks. He treasured the two years he spent in the army in Heidelberg, Germany. Interment private. Memorial donations may be made in Jim’s name to: Cromwell Valley Park Council, Sherwood House, 2002 Cromwell Bridge Road, Parkville, MD 21234.
