Elizabeth Cecilia Gallant

Elizabeth Cecilia Gallant, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28th, in the comfort of her home. Born on May 17, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was raised in Ellicott City, where she spent her early years before building a life centered around family, faith, and hard work.

Beth was a devoted mother whose children meant the world to her. As a single mother of three - Betsy, Michael, and Sandy - she always worked tirelessly to provide for her family.

A devout Catholic involved in her church, Beth’s faith guided her throughout her life. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially singing, working in the yard, and her love of horses. Beth spent the majority of her career working for Giant Food, where she was known for her strong work ethic and friendly spirit.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Betsy, as well as her four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her children, Sandy and Michael.

Beth will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her unwavering faith, and the love she shared with those around her.
