Donna Jean French

Donna Jean French passed away on Sunday, August 11th , 2019 after a brief stay in hospice. She was 92 years old. Donna was born in Ohio on December 31, 1926 and moved with her family to Illinois, Pennsylvania and finally settling in Maryland. She married Joseph Kaminkow, the father of her two children, David Kaminkow and Ellen Popiel, in 1951. She was an avid ballroom dancer and enjoyed the company of her many friends during evenings out. Always one for a clever quip, she kept everyone smiling and on their toes. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Michel French and two sisters Mary Ellen and Shirley. She is survived by her children, Ellen and David, her grandchildren Jessica and Dylan and two great-granddaughters, Anya and Mareya. A private gathering of family and close friends to celebrate her will be held soon.
