Carol Lamar

Carol Ann Lamar, daughter of the late Thomas Garner and the late Lulleen Garner was born on June 29, 1940 in West Newton, Pennsylvania. She passed away comfortably at home on June 3, 2026 in Elkridge, Maryland.

Carol was the sister and youngest sibling of her three brothers, the late Darrell S. Garner, Sr., the late Leroy Garner, and the late Robert Garner. Carol lived a full life with a diverse career path that included modeling, entrepreneurship and caregiving, retiring from The Eddy in 2008. Carol received multiple recognitions for the way in which she cared for patients.

Carol’s legacy beautifully shows her diligence, work ethic and dedication to her children. Her love, affection and intercessory prayers for her children and grandchildren were unremitting. Carol enjoyed reading, puzzles, studying the Bible and thoughtful discussions with her children. Her encouraging voice and wise counsel will be truly missed. Carol is survived by her daughter Lulleen Lamar, sons Edmund Dorsey (wife Dionne) and Kevin Dorsey, and three grandchildren, Elisha Dorsey, Nathanael Dorsey and Micailya Dorsey.
